I didnt go trick or treating, Its wet, rainy and cold and I would be wearing sexy silk. very bad in rainyness. but the girls looked cute and shared their candy with me.
so I went to the library to get books with Rachel, I picked up the new book by Chuck Palahniuk, Its intresting but I dont like it and dont really want to finish it, Its making fun of reality tv shows and human nature but parts of it are really disturbing. Its about a bunch of people who decide to do this writers retreat and "leave their lives for three months" so they can write a best seller, but they end up locked in an abandoaned theatre and to make their stories more important they do weird shit like sabotage the heat and destroy their food and chop off sundry appendeges and then whine cause theres no food and their cold and bleeding to death, and in the end your not sure whats real and whats not.
I think I'll flip through it and go back to reading Charles de Lint who is currently my favorite author, hes very cool. he writes fantasy but its really tied up in living and not excapism, and his books are decptivley simple, I like that. plus he writes of whats true and beuatyful, instead of whats ugly and decaying.
tomarrows my work all day day, and all my clothes are wet and on the line, so I'll have to find something to wear. fun fun.
well I was doing well.
